The Höldur Europcar headquarters are in part a renovation of an existing industrial building, extension of an office building and new construction that blends effortlessly with the preexisting context. The new building is a simple white volume, constructed of CLT timber that encompasses the older office building and highlights its characteristic circular windows. On the inside, the palimpsest of the older structure is preserved, allowing users to read the history of the building.
