DESCRIPTION

The project is an expansion of Hótel Vatnajökull. The new addition takes cues from the existing building whilst paying homage to Icelandic vernacular building forms. Emphasis is placed on the connection of the rooms with their environment, ensuring majestic views of the Vatnajökull Glacier and its surroundings.
