Fosshótel Vatnajökull

The project is conceived as an extension of Hótel Vatnajökull, where the new addition draws from the character of the existing building while referencing Icelandic vernacular forms. Emphasis is placed on connecting each room to its surroundings, framing expansive views toward Vatnajökull Glacier and embedding the experience of the landscape into the architecture.
