Garðabær Villa Renovation
The villa is a classic house by one of Iceland’s pioneering modernist architects Sigvaldi Thordarson. The exterior renovation respected Sigvaldi’s original design and preserved proportions and reliefs. The interior renovation is simple and contemporary but simultaneously respectful of the original spatial arrangement and materiality.
