The Bjarg Neighborhood is located in Hella in South Iceland. The area is on the west banks of the Ytri Rangá river and will be connected to Hella proper with two pedestrian bridges. The site enjoys spectacular views of the mountain ranges, and volcanos of the south. The zoning is based on principles of sustainable urban design and carefully works with the terrain and views. The zoning allows for a mix of residential buildings, ranging from larger single family homes to row houses.
